Job Description

Having been successful at selling and supporting trading software to the agricultural, softs and energy trading community in some of the main financial trading hubs, Blue Ocean Trading Services are actively looking for partnerships to help develop sales in all trading hubs and commodity origins.

Currently Blue Ocean has clients in 75 countries with local presence in France, UK, Australia, Russia, Singapore and Japan.

We are looking for: 

. Country agent profiles

The new partner profiles include from amongst:

  • People with an established Ags, softs or energy trading network.

  • Young Entrepreneurs and startups.  

  • People working at a commodity trading or brokerage firm with time and ability to facilitate Blue Ocean Trading services growth.

Blue ocean deliverables to partners

  • Access to all Blue Ocean Trading services products for demonstrations

  • Sales objectives will be set in conjunction with Blue Ocean Management

  • Product Training will be given by application specialists and masters of the industry

  • Sales training will be offered by industry experts and legends

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Sales profile with a high degree of energy, assertiveness, discretion, buoyancy, can do attitude and a good sense of humour

  • Fluent spoken and written English

  • Ability to work remotely within the Blue Ocean team

  • Interest in business generating professional social media sites LinkedIn, Twitter etc

  • Results driven

  • Excellent service presentation skills

We are looking for: 

. International internship, Bordeaux (France)

. 12-month Sandwich Year Placement or recent graduate

. Sales, Marketing and Admin Executive for Europe, Asia, South America

. Start dates: August 1st (15th August latest)

The placement student will have a variety of tasks within the functions of sales, marketing and administration. The responsibilities include conduc-ting mailshots, compiling marketing materials, preparing proposals of charges, contracts, office admin, preparing sales reports, setting up client screens, client training and credit control. Other responsibilities include maintaining the company website, SEO, social media, marketing events and participating at Paris trade shows.

This is a full time 12-month placement position based in Andernos-les-Bains (near Bordeaux), France starting June 2023.

Reporting to the Founder.

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Well organized, proactive and ability to drive the company to the next level.

  • Sales profile with a high degree of energy, assertiveness, discretion, buoyancy, can do attitude and a good sense of humor

  • English speaking and knowledge of French

  • Sound knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.)

  • Knowledge of Salesforce CRM and databases a bonus

  • Interest in the financial markets and trading (not essential)

  • Ability to work remotely within the Blue Ocean team

  • Creative with an interest in graphic design and website automation (bonus not essential)

  • Interest in business generating professional social media sites LinkedIn, Twitter etc.

  • Interest in SEO (bonus not essential)
